The team at Scarborough Majellan Medical Centre consists of 10 general practitioners, 4 Practice nurses, 8 receptionists, and Adam Tranter, the Acting Practice Manager.  The location of the Practice couldn’t be better with the Practice across the road from the beach.  To ease the pain of the wait that sometimes happens in General Practice, the waiting room is furnished with comfortable lounges that encourage relaxation as well as having the more upright chairs for those who are less able-bodied.  The Practice offers a beeper service for those patients who like to enjoy the lovely seaside view while they wait or for parents with children who can take them across the road to the park to play as they wait or for those wishing to take advantage of the numerous cafes and restaurants close by.

The Practice is supported by many allied health services such as the physiotherapist, dietician, psychologist, massage therapist, pharmacy and pathology outlet either on-site or in the immediate vicinity.

Dr Paul Angel, the Practice principal, is proud that as well as comprehensive General Practice services, Majellan Medical Centre provides 24 hour blood pressure monitoring, microscopic suction toileting treatment for ear wax, vascular Doppler, a state of the art digital computer scan (Dermdoc) for skin checks, tympanometer, ultrasound treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, associated with the pain and muscular spasm, SWTT (Shock Wave Therapy Treatment Machine), all types of contraception including intrauterine contraceptive device (Mirena) and longtime subcutaneous implants (Implanon).

Dr Helen Angel provides wrinkle smoothing injections, an anti-aging treatment to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
