How We Can Help

 We have been serving the aviation community since 2010.  Whether you require a work related clearance medical, or are pursuing your Private Pilot’s Licence, we can assist.

The Scarborough Majellan Medical Centre provides Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) Services, including Class 1, 2 and 3 Aviation Medicals conveniently located in the recreational part of Redcliffe.

We also provide travel medicine advice for people that plan flying overseas with different medical conditions.

Dr Paul Angel is an accredited DAME with CASA and holds the Australian Certificate of Civil Aviation Medicine from Monash University.  Dr Angel is an active member of the Australasian Society of Aviation Medicine and regularly attends aviation related professional development education and training.

We currently have more than one hundred pilots on our books.

Appointments

Please allow 1 hour for your Aviation Medical – 30 minutes with a Practice Nurse, 30 minutes with Dr Angel.

Please ensure you have an ARN and that you have completed your online medical certificate application before booking your appointment, we will not be able to complete your medical if you have not completed these requirements.  You will need to know your Aviation Reference Number (ARN) and bring your current Medical Certificate with you to the appointment.

We are happy to attend pilots that have annual checks with another DAME.

For pilots that require urgent aviation medical review we can provide our service within two business days.  Please advise our Receptionist that you need to be seen urgently.
