We are a family-owned, private billing practice dedicated to providing you with respectful and timely care. Standard appointments are 15 minutes. If you have more than one issue to discuss, please consider booking a long appointment. You can find a full list of our services on our Services page.​

Since 2004, Majellan Medical Centre has been providing high-quality healthcare to the Scarborough & Kippa-ring communities, now proudly co-owned by the Angel and Karunasekara families. As a family-owned and operated practice, we put patients at the heart of everything we do, combining professional medical expertise with a warm, welcoming approach. Our waterfront location offers a relaxed setting where patients can enjoy the nearby park or café while they wait. Meet our doctors
Our dedicated team of doctors combines years of experience with a passion for continuous learning, ensuring patients receive the highest quality of care. Supported by our friendly reception and nursing staff, we create a welcoming, professional environment where every patient feels valued, respected, and well looked after.
Consultation fees
Majellan Medical Centre is a private billing practice. This means you'll need to pay the full fee on the day of your appointment. Our reception team can then instantly process your Medicare rebate for you via our Tyro machine or deposit the rebate directly into the bank account you have registered with Medicare (typically within 24 hours).
Consultation fees are determined by each individual doctor and are based on the nature and duration of your consultation
Additional fees are incurred for surgical procedures, vaccines and tests including: pregnancy testing, urine screen, ECG, spirometry, audiometry, etc.
